So it has been a long time with no posts, long enough that the previous tutorial is now outdated if you want to comp in anything higher than 8-bit!  I have been busy and haven't had much time for blogging, but I will return sometime this year!
Here's a bit of what I've been working on lately:

Alright, it has been way to long, and now I have joined the ranks of those who never finish posting the second parts of tutorials!!! Boy I hate that!! So, in looking at this tutorial, it is quite outdated, especially since it only produces 8-bit images. I will work on writing a new version, based on using Nuke, and I will work on posting a little more regularly than once every couple of years!
